Summary of shipment process

The Summary page consists of four tabs:

  • Shipment events: This tab lets you track your shipments from creation to closure. You can see the sequence of the shipment’s statuses on one page, along with information about the shipment’s location.
  • Track shipment provides tracking information about your shipment.
    • For small parcel delivery (SPD) using the Amazon Partnered Carrier program, you can track your shipments by box number, tracking ID, and carrier status. If you did not use the Amazon Partnered Carrier program, you are required to enter your tracking information on the Track shipment tab before the shipment is delivered, where available, so that Amazon can provide you with accurate shipment tracking information.
    • For less-than-truckload (LTL) and full-truckload (FTL) shipments using the Amazon Partnered Carrier program, you can track your shipment by freight number and your bill of lading (BOL). The Amazon-generated BOL is available no later than 8 am local time on the day of pickup. For LTL and FTL shipments outside of the Amazon Partnered Carrier program, a freight progressive number (PRO) will be required for every shipment before delivery, where available.
  • Shipment contents is a list of products included in your shipment and the number of items received when the shipment arrives at the fulfillment center.
  • Reconcile identifies discrepancies between what was listed in the shipment and what is received at the fulfillment center. Reconciliation of shipped inventory usually takes 16 to 30 days. In some cases, it will take up to 60 days.
